There is a strong trend in the development of control systems for multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), where minimization signal effort conducted to extend flight time. The aim this article shed light on problem shaping signals terms energy-optimal flights. synthesis UAV autonomous system with brain emotional learning based intelligent controller (BELBIC) presented. BELBIC, information from feedback loop reference tracking system, shows high ability develop an appropriate action low computational complexity. This extends capabilities commonly used fixed-value proportional–integral–derivative controllers simple but efficient manner. tuning treated here as optimization cost function expressing and maximum precision flight. introduces several techniques (bio-inspired metaheuristics) that allow quick self-tuning parameters. performance comprehensively analyzed results experiments quadrotor model.
